However, not every pod works with every Xlim kit, so it is important to check the compatibility listed on each product before ordering. The Xlim Pro 2 uses an updated pod with a revised fill port that is specific to that kit and is not interchangeable with older Xlim Pro pods.

OXVA Xlim Pro 2 pods feature a revised top-fill design compared to the original Xlim Pro pods, making refilling quicker and reducing spill risk. The resistance options are similar across both, typically 0.6 ohm and 0.8 ohm, but the pods are not cross-compatible between the two kits. If you are unsure which pod your kit takes, check the model name printed on your kit before purchasing.

Under average use, an OXVA pod will typically last anywhere from a few days to two weeks depending on how frequently you vape, the sweetness level of your e-liquid, and the wattage you use. Sweeter e-liquids cause coil gunking more quickly, which shortens pod lifespan. Using your pod within the recommended wattage range and keeping it filled helps extend performance before a replacement is needed.

Most OXVA vape pods are designed for use with 50/50 VG/PG nicotine salt e-liquids, which work well with the mouth-to-lung coil resistances used across the Xlim, Nexlim, and VPrime ranges. The Nexlim uses a different pod format and connection, so pods from other OXVA platforms will not fit. An OXVA Xlim cartridge is another term for an Xlim replacement pod. It refers to the refillable cartridge unit that slots into Xlim series kits and holds the e-liquid and coil. The terms pod and cartridge are used interchangeably for this type of component. Depending on the Xlim model you own, the cartridge may include a fixed coil or accept a separate replaceable coil head.

OXVA Xlim V2 pods are designed for the Xlim V2 kit and use a side-fill format, which differs from the top-fill design used in Xlim Pro pods. These two pod types are not directly interchangeable. If you own an Xlim Pro, you should use pods listed as compatible with that specific kit rather than Xlim V2 pods.

The most common signs that an OXVA pod needs replacing are a noticeably burnt or muted flavour, reduced vapour production, or a slight gurgling sound when inhaling. These indicate that the coil mesh inside the pod has degraded and is no longer heating e-liquid cleanly. Continuing to vape on a worn pod will not damage your kit, but replacing it promptly restores full flavour performance.
