Comparison: Vaporesso Xros Pro vs OXVA Xlim Pro 2

    Build Quality

OXVA Xlim Pro 2 is lightweight at just 66g, crafted from aluminium alloy with a sleek matte finish. It comes in over 13 colour variants, from Coral Pink to Black Warrior. The device feels premium in the hand but is still compact enough for pockets or bags.

As for Vaporesso Xros Pro, it is heavier at 86g, with a sturdy build and clean finish. It feels more rugged, but less pocket-friendly due to its weight and bulk.

One thing I like more about OXVA Xlim Pro 2 is the clear 0.56" OLED screen that it has. On this screen, you can track everything, including battery, puff count, resistance, power, etc. Vaporesso Xros Pro also shows this information but the screen is not as interactive and fun as using it on Xlim Pro 2.

With the design and colours, it is clear that OXVA has invested more in creating unique and outstanding designs for its pod kits. You can choose from many versions of metal or leather with a one-of-a-kind pattern. OXVA Xlim Pro 2 will be more suitable if you want to be stylish and stand out in your vaping experience. On the other hand, Xros Pros has a simpler, solid and rugged design.

    Battery Capacity

    • Vaporesso Xros Pro: 1200mAh
    • OXVA Xlim Pro 2: 1300mAh

OXVA Xlim Pro 2 impresses me with its big battery capacity of 1300mAh in such a small and compact device. With a 1300mAh battery, you can expect up to 4 days of use for moderate users. It also supports 5V/2A fast charging, taking just 25 minutes to fully charge.

Meanwhile, Vaporesso Xros Pro has a slightly smaller battery size of 1200mAh, still enough for a full day of vaping. The device takes around 30 minutes to be fully charged. Based on the battery capacity, OXVA Xlim Pro 2 is the winner with a bigger capacity and faster charging. However, in my opinion, this difference in battery is hardly recognisable and won't affect too much to your vaping experience.

    Ease of Use

    Activation

Designed with flexibility in mind, the OXVA Xlim Pro 2 features a single ergonomic button and draw-activated inhale. This device is inhale-activated only, meaning there is no fire button. The button on one side is used to adjust settings.

Vaporesso Xros Pro, in contrast, has dual activation with inhale activation and a fire button. This fire button is also used to change the wattage and other settings. Vaporesso Xros Pro also has a fire lock button on one side of the device. You can lock the device by sliding the lock button up; the fire button will be deactivated. However, the auto-draw mechanism is still available in the lock mode.

    Changing Wattage

On the Vaporesso Xros Pro, you can freely change the power wattage using the fire button. However, there is a twist. You can only use precise wattage selection on the 0.4 Ohm pod. With other pods from 0.6 to 1.2 ohms, the options are ECO, NORMAL, and POWER.

On OXVA Xlim Pro 2, you can either adjust the wattage or let the device decide the best output with your pods. At a glance, the OXVA vape will provide more flexibility for users to decide the power output without depending on the pod types.

    Refilling

The refilling process is different for each because of the distinct design of OVXA pods and Vaporesso Pods. Both pods have a top refilling mechanism; however, the filling port of the OVXA pods is located on one side, while on Vaporesso pods, it lies on the top, under the mouthpiece cap.

I personally like the filling mechanism on Vaporesso Xros Pro more, simply because I can keep my device upright while refilling. With OXVA Xlim Pro 2, you need to hold the device and tilt it to the side when putting e liquid in. The rubber stop still holds the e liquid well, so no leaking issues are there.

    Performance

The OXVA Xlim Pro 2 supports MTL and RDTL vaping, with wattage adjustment between 5–30W. Airflow control is smooth and precise. It’s compatible with both Xlim V2 and V3 pods, ranging from 0.4 to 1.2 Ohm.

Vaporesso also supports adjustable power up to 30W, and includes Eco, Normal, and Boost modes. Airflow is controlled via a 3-level slider, though it can feel restrictive for those who want finer adjustment. Compatible with Xros pods with coils ranging from 0.4 to 1.2 Ohm. It has an extra option of 1.0 Ohm compared to Xlim Pods.

Both devices give you flexibility in choosing your vaping styles and coil resistances. The range of coils is relatively similar, with 0.4 and 0.6 for RDTL vaping and higher for MTL vaping. This makes both of them compatible with nic salts and 50/50 vape juice.

Both OXVA and Vaporesso have their own technology in flavour production, and both vape kits give excellent flavour and vapour production. However, if I had to choose one winner, the OXVA Xlim Pro 2 would be it. The flavour intensity increases if you set a higher wattage or a higher mode.

    Price Comparison

WizVape offers great prices on Vaporesso and OXVA pod kits

    • Vaporesso Xros Pro: £29.99
    • OXVA Xlim Pro 2: £24.99 (on sale at £19.99)

When it comes to value for money, the OXVA Xlim Pro 2 takes the lead. With a regular price of £24.99 and currently on sale for just £19.99, it offers top-tier performance at a budget-friendly rate. In contrast, the Vaporesso Xros Pro is more expensive at £29.99. We recommend buying a vape kit bundle to save more money with additional replacement pods and free e liquids.

Which one is better: Vaporesso Xros Pro or OXVA Xlim Pro 2?

Both the Vaporesso Xros Pro vs OXVA Xlim Pro 2 are standout performers in the 2025 pod vape market, offering impressive flavour, reliable battery life, and flexible vaping styles. However, after comparing build quality, user experience, performance, and value, the OXVA Xlim Pro 2 comes out on top.

With a larger 1300mAh battery, faster 25-minute charging, a more vibrant OLED display, smart wattage detection, and a sleek, lightweight design, it offers a premium vaping experience at a more accessible price, especially while it’s on sale for just £19.99. It’s the ideal pick for vapers who want power, style, and versatility in a compact device.

That said, if you prefer a heavier, rugged build with a simple upright refill system, the Xros Pro remains a strong contender.
