When I first picked up the Aspire PockeX, I was impressed with how sleek and compact it was. Seriously, it’s super easy to carry around—just slip it in your pocket, and you’re good to go. The whole device feels lightweight yet sturdy, and it fits perfectly in my hand. It’s the kind of vape that doesn’t weigh you down, which I really appreciate, especially when I’m out and about.
The one-button operation is a huge win for me. No menus, no confusing settings, just press the button to vape and lock it when I’m done. It’s simple, which is exactly what I wanted. I’ve used a lot of vapes where you have to mess around with settings before even taking your first puff, but with the PockeX, it’s all about convenience. Just fill it up, press, and enjoy.
The PockeX vape pen features a dual indicator light system to display the battery's charge status: a blue light indicates more than 30% power, while a red light shows when the power is below 30%. Personally, I think Aspire could have done more for this with 3 light indicators since the jump between 100% and 30% is quite far, and I like to keep track of my battery.
In 2025, the vape brands are releasing more pod vape kits, which have a more modern look and even an LED screen for information. The Aspire PockeX Vape Kit does not have a modern look as such but a normal pen-style, which will be useful for ex-smokers who want to experience the same thing in vape.
The 1500mAh built-in battery is a total game-changer for me. I didn’t expect to get a full day of vaping on a single charge, but I did. The USB charging port is quick and convenient. Charging is easy, but I do wish it had a faster charging time. It’s not a dealbreaker, but for someone like me, who’s constantly on the move, a quicker charge would be ideal. In addition, it is worth noticing that the vape kit uses Micro USB, which comes in the package, so it is not a problem for me.
Here’s where things get interesting. I started off using the 0.6 Ohm coil (included in the kit), and wow, the flavour was on point. The Aspire PockeX uses U-Tech coil technology, which optimizes airflow and heating for better flavour and vapour production. The first few puffs were smooth and satisfying, with a nice balance of flavour and vapour. It was just what I was looking for in a mouth-to-lung vape. The 1.2 Ohm Aspire coil (which you can buy separately) offers a different kind of experience with a stronger nicotine hit, and I could see it being perfect for those who prefer a more intense throat hit.
The coils are easy to replace, and I like that I don’t have to worry about complicated setups or having to buy extra accessories right off the bat. You can pair these Aspire PockeX coils with any kind of e liquids, including freebase, nic salts and high VG vape juice (only for 0.6 Ohm).

That being said, I did find the airflow to be a little too restricted for my liking. The PockeX features non-adjustable airflow, which is fine if you prefer a tighter draw, but I would’ve loved the option to adjust it. Some days, I want a more open draw, and having that flexibility would’ve been nice. It’s definitely a personal preference thing, but it’s something I noticed after a few days of using it.

Refilling the tank couldn’t be easier. The top-fill system is super convenient—just unscrew the top cap, fill it up, and screw it back on. No leaks, no mess, and no fuss. I also appreciate that the tank is transparent, so I can easily check the e-liquid level and avoid any dry hits. It’s these little details that make the PockeX so user-friendly.
After spending some time with the Aspire PockeX, I can honestly say this is one of the best vape pens I’ve tried in terms of simplicity and reliability. The vape quality is smooth, the flavour is great, and the battery life is solid for an all-day experience. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for something easy to use, lightweight, and portable.
The only real downside for me is the nonadjustable airflow. If you prefer a more customizable draw, you might find that a bit limiting.
