Single 18650 External Battery
The Armour GS uses a single external 18650 battery (not included). External battery compatibility means you can carry spares, swap cells when needed and avoid waiting on charging during a long vaping day.
Battery Safety Guidance
Use a high-drain 18650 battery from a reputable manufacturer and carry spare cells in a protective battery case. Replace batteries if the wrap becomes damaged. External battery designs offer flexibility when matched batteries are used and maintained safely.
Up To 80W Adjustable Output
Wattage is adjustable from 5W to 80W. Lower wattage suits mid-range resistance coils for more controlled vapour and flavour, while higher wattages support sub-ohm DTL vaping with thicker e-liquid blends.

Armour GS Pod & Double Top Airflow
The Armour GS pod features adjustable 4-level top airflow. Top airflow reduces the likelihood of leaking compared to bottom airflow designs, while the four levels allow you to tune the draw from tight and restricted to wide and open.
Refilling is handled via a sealed top-fill port to minimise spills. The transparent pod lets you see how much e-liquid remains.
GTX Coil Compatibility (0.15Ω–1.2Ω)
The Armour GS is compatible with Vaporesso GTX coils, covering resistances from 0.15Ω up to 1.2Ω. This gives you a full range from wide-open DTL to tighter RDL draws and even near-MTL with the highest resistance coils.

Best E-Liquid For Armour GS
For sub-ohm DTL and RDL vaping, high-VG e-liquids such as 70/30 shortfills are ideal. Larger bottles such as 100ml shortfill bottles are popular for higher wattage use. For higher resistance coils and lower wattage draws, 50/50 blends can be suitable.

The Armour GS is primarily designed for direct-to-lung and restricted direct-to-lung vaping. With tighter coil options and more closed airflow, you can achieve draws closer to MTL, but this kit is not intended as a basic low-wattage starter device.

How To Set Up
- Insert a matched 18650 battery into the device.
- Install your chosen GTX coil into the pod.
- Fill the pod via the top-fill port and secure the seal.
- Allow the coil to saturate fully before first use.
- Start at the lower end of the recommended wattage range and adjust gradually.
Coil Lifespan & Avoiding Burnt Taste
Coil lifespan varies with e-liquid type and wattage, but many users replace coils every 1–2 weeks. Always allow proper saturation and avoid exceeding the recommended range to help prevent a burnt taste.

E-Liquid Compatibility
50/50 VG/PG is the right choice for MTL use on the Vaporesso Armour GS 80W Pod Vape Kit, stepping up to 70/30 high-VG when running the DTL coil. It covers both mouth-to-lung and direct-to-lung vaping, with coil resistances spanning from 0.2Ω to 0.6Ω across a 80W output range.
On the MTL setting, nicotine salts at higher strengths give the most satisfying hit. For the DTL coil, freebase e-liquids at 3mg or lower are essential, nicotine salts are not suitable at DTL output levels.
Pods hold 2ml of e-liquid and refill via a top fill mechanism, keeping things convenient whether you're switching between styles.
Thicker e-liquids such as 70/30 high-VG blends are not well suited to the MTL coil, they can restrict wicking at lower wattages and increase the risk of dry or burnt hits. Reserve higher-VG blends for the DTL coil where the wattage and airflow can handle them.
