    Safety Notice

Sub-Ohm tanks and coils must be used by experienced and knowledgeable users as additional safety precautions must be practiced when using these items. These products need to work on a mod/battery capable of firing at sub-Ohm resistances. So, for example, if you have a 0.5 Ohm coil in your tank, your mod/battery must be capable of firing at 0.5 Ohm resistance, or lower. You also need to ensure your device can cope with the amps. Improper use can lead to physical injury and damaged equipment.

How long do vape coils last?

Several factors, including the type of coil, vaping behaviours, e-liquid used, and maintenance, can affect the lifespan of vape coils. A vape coil can last anywhere from a few days to several weeks on average. Here are some general guidelines for coils of various types.

1: Prime Your Coils: It takes time for the coil to absorb e-liquid before use. Before inserting, add a few drops of e-liquid to the coil and let it sit. The coil can also be set up and left for 10 minutes to fill with e-liquid. After that, the coil is ready.

3: Use High Quality E-Liquids / Juice:  Budget e-liquids have a lot of sugary sweeteners, which burn and ruin the coils in vape kits. When e-liquid builds up in these coils, it wears out the wicks and makes it hard for them to soak up new juice. Even though sweeteners are often used by companies to flavour their e-liquids, they usually use them in much smaller amounts than budget names. Premium ingredients used in high-quality e-liquids are less harmful to your coils. We advise that you always use the suggested settings and the proper e-liquid ratio. Your coil will last longer as a result, and the impact will be better. Premium Quality E-Liquids can be purchased here.

3: Clean Your Coils Regularly: Regular coil cleaning is necessary to remove e-liquid build up. You can clean coils with vodka, vinegar, or regular warm water. Whatever option you choose, soak your coils overnight to remove any lingering e-liquid build up.

4: Use High PG E-Liquids: High VG e-liquids are frequently made from vegetable oil, which has a thick viscosity that can clog coils. While high VG juices are ideal for sub-ohm, direct-to-lung (DTL) vaping, 50/50 vape juice and High PG E-liquids has a considerably thinner consistency and does not have the same effect on vape coils as high VG e-liquid. Premium High PG Eliquids can be purchased here

5: Keep Your Tank Full: Driving a car with no oil is similar to driving a car with no fuel, the engine will eventually seize, causing considerable damage. If you don't have enough e-liquid remaining, your wick will start vaporising thin air, resulting in a horrible burnt flavour. Many tanks contains a minimum level indicator to help you when vaping. To lessen the risks of a dry hit, keep your vape kit reservoir topped up to at least this fill line.

6: Vaping Frequency: The more frequently you use your vape device, the quicker the coil will wear out. Heavy vapers may need to replace their coils more often than occasional vapers.

7: Wattage Setting: Running a coil at higher wattages generates more heat and can shorten its lifespan. Sticking to the recommended wattage range helps extend the coil's life.

It's crucial to monitor the performance of your vape coil regularly. If you notice a decrease in flavour quality, a burnt taste, or reduced vapor production, it may be time to replace the coil. Always follow the manufacturer's guidelines and recommendations for coil replacement to ensure a smooth and enjoyable vaping experience.
