The Exceptional Growth Of Vape Liquid
Vape juice, e-liquid, vape liquid, e juice...whatever you call it, it's the substance that helps keep us all hooked on vaping. The vast array of high-quality flavors; the variety of nicotine levels; and the progress of high-VG e liquids that produce highly competitive clouds. Whatever your personal taste and vaping style, you're likely to find an e-liquid to suit it.
However, you might be shocked to hear that e liquid originates back to the 1960s at its most basic form. Now we can see the exceptional growth of Vape Liquid among vapors.
E-CIGARETTES WERE INVENTED BY HERBERT A GILBERT
If you've ever wondered when the first e-cigarettes were invented, you might be astonished to know how long ago it was! In 1963, a guy called Herbert A Gilbert, who was well aware of the side effects associated with tobacco use, secured an invention for an electronic smoking apparatus- see his original invention here. Unfortunately for Herbert, cigarettes were very much a part of normal life in the 1960s, and they were generally accepted in the office, restaurants, airplanes, and practically all public locations, including university classrooms! Unfortunately, Herbert's invention was ahead of its time, and there was no marketplace for it.
A LOOK BACK AT VAPING'S HISTORY:
IS VAPING A THING OF THE PAST?
Vaping is a current craze, yet even new vapes have historical importance. Ancient Egypt was famous for its vaping methods, such as vaping herbs with heated stones. The first shisha was delivered to India thousands of years ago. All of these strategies resulted in the development of existing vapes as we know them today.
VAPING'S CHRONOLOGY OF EVENTS:
In 1979, a doctor named Norman Jacobson collaborated with a computer prodigy named Philip Ray to develop a way to deliver nicotine to the bloodstream via the lungs while removing the other harmful components included in cigarettes.
Their ultimate device was really not electrical. There was no heat, despite the fact that it looked like a cigarette. A cigarette-like tube was filled with a cartridge containing nicotine-soaked paper. To release the nicotine from the cartridge, addicts would inhale.
Various tobacco corporations sought to develop a ‘safe' version of the cigarette between then and the early 2000s. The main issue also seemed to be how and when to promote the product, as no one wanted to publicly concede that regular cigarettes were "dangerous." As a result, we now have a plethora of nicotine substitutes that bear little similarity to cigarettes, such as gum and patches.
OUR E-CIGARETTE WAS GIVEN TO US BY A PHARMACIST
Hon Lik, a Chinese pharmacist, used these nicotine treatments to quit smoking in the early 2000s, an addiction that had killed his father. He realized that the only way to control his nicotine cravings was to smoke, so he set out to create a safer alternative.
He invented an electronic cigarette that delivered nicotine without any of the thousands of potentially dangerous compounds inherent in tobacco smoke. His electronic cigarette design was a tremendous hit in China, and it quickly spread to other nations, with the first ones appearing in the UK in 2005 and the United States in 2007.
The World Health Organization stated in 2008 that electronic cigarettes should not be sold as an alternative to smoking, but did not specify whether they had a positive or negative effect, paving the path for their global popularity. In the United Kingdom alone, it is believed that over 2.6 million people use electronic cigarettes.
MODERN CREATION OF ELECTRIC LIQUIDS
The technique of testing liquids to achieve the proper vapor was matched to his expertise as a pharmacist. His extensive research led him to realizations alcohol, or PG, which is still used in vape juice today.
PG has a number of advantages: it holds nicotine well; it produces vapor when heated; it is colorless and odorless and flavorless, so any flavor can be added; it has a low viscosity, making it easy to absorb by the wick; and it has already been certified by the FDA for use in food products.
INCLUDING VG INTO THE MIXTURE
Vegetable glycerin (VG) was later discovered to be equally as effective as PG, with the added benefit of being hypoallergenic and hence not causing any side effects in persons who are sensitive to PG. Furthermore, VG is thicker than PG, resulting in larger vape clouds.
However, because of the higher viscosity, consumers feel less of a throat hit, which is the part that most closely resembles smoking a cigarette. Producers and vapers have been testing different mixtures of VG and PG since this revelation to find the optimum mix of hit on the inhale and vapor plumes on the exhale.
WHERE DO WE STAND TODAY?
Hon Lik and Herbert A Gilbert share the credit for the basic design of the contemporary vapor appliance, but many additional inventions have been incorporated into the items that can currently be purchased. For example: Vape Kits, Coils , Tanks and a lot of products you can see on our store.
Few companies have also seen a rate of growth in the vapor industry's pace. We prefer to buy high PG e liquid and buy "fizzy' vapor juice similar to sherbet in palettes; we have also e-liquids that accommodate nicotine salts rather than freebase nicotine we began "stressing and vaporizing" with shortfills, nicotine clear vapor, and nice shots, so as to prevent unnecessary waste related to the purchase of several 10ml bottles; some of us vapers even make our own DIY vapor juice.
Each vapor is well served, regardless of your individual vapor juice type – be it menthol and fizzy, high nicotine or neutral, high VG or high PG. We ought to be grateful to the founders for having persevered and brought us today's modern vapor experience. And its leads to the exceptional growth of vape Liquid.
